This role would suit an individual with some supervisory / management experience looking to take the next step into a leadership role. Who are you ? Have held a Product Development and / or R&D role responsible for managing projects Likely have led a small team of 1-5 people, either as direct reports or on projects Most likely have had good exposure to working in a manufacturing / fabrication environment Probably an engineering degree, however candidates with an industrial design background also encouraged to apply Good skills with CAD. SolidWorks is used, however you may have a background with other packages Strong at managing cost and schedule on projects without sacrificing quality Skilled at presenting new ideas, but mature enough work effectively to get true stakeholder buy in Core role responsibilities Lead a small team of Industrial Designers and Design Engineers who comprise the R&D team Report into the General Manager, and be a key part of the leadership team Develop and manage R&D projects with a keen eye on cost, time and quality Engage directly with customers to establish product & service requirements Identify and assess new R&D opportunities Liaise at times with the group's global engineering department Please call Dan Kery BEng on 0406 537 706 to discuss.
