An opportunity for a Specialist Psychiatrist who is seeking to explore opportunities within Private Health, to join a Specialist team within a highly regarded Private Hospital within a DWS area of NSW.

About the Role

Based on the mid north coast of NSW, this private Hospital has a genuine need to expand this service to provide specialist treatment and care to the local community. With that in mind, you will be supported from day one, with guaranteed earnings for up to 12 months. The unit houses a 25 beds that provide treatment for mood disorders, anxiety, depression and older adult conditions. The hospital's wards operate on a consultant team basis with highly qualified mental health nursing and therapy staff. The Hospital is registered providers for National Disability Scheme (NDIS). The on-call is minimal and you will also be supported by 2 registrars as well as a further 2.6 FTE. Specialists.  Some of the current specialists services on offer include  Neurostimulation – Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) & Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) for medication resistant depression and severe depression Older persons mental health Acute adult psychiatry Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) inpatient and day programs CBT-based programs What's on offer?
