The Hospital is seeking a new team member to work in collaboration as part of a dedicated team of emergency specialists in this brand new facility. There is also opportunity to develop your management skills in a variety of areas, including training and other aspects of clinical governance. The Emergency Department is a busy rural service seeing in excess of 33,000 presentations p.a., 30-35% admission rate and 20% Paediatric case load. The department manage a very much above average acutely ill patient load, with our Triage Category 2 patients being in the region of 17%. The department physically has two resus bays, 14 acute beds (two Paediatric), five consultation rooms, one mental health room and one isolation room. Located on the Lower Mid North Coast of New South Wales, we are just three hours drive north of Sydney, two hours north of Newcastle and one hour south of Port Macquarie. What's on offer?
