management of the Overhead Transmission & Distribution (OT&D) Business Group
Manage OT&D products into the Electric Utility market and periodically review and maintain to ensure continued progress of strategies and planned targets. • Identification of new opportunities for OT&D products and achievement of product qualification to generate sales. Assist with preparation of annual Sales Budgets for all OT&D products. Manage submission of all major Tender bids and quotations to major customers. Intrastate, interstate and where necessary, international travel to visit major clients to promote OT&D range and attend Group SBU meetings. Manage stock profile for all OT&D products to ensure on-time delivery to customers. Prepare quarterly Business Progress reports detailing market & customer sales and margin performance, current promotional activities, provision of market intelligence and recommendations for action. Maintenance of technical catalogue and on-line literature for promotional purposes Attendance at relevant industry conferences and trade shows etc. to promote the OT&D product range. Utilization of the company database for reporting data and analysis of sales progress and margin performance. Organization and provision of product training and support for external and internal sales staff regarding OT&D product range to enable processing of basic enquiries. Establish and document operational procedures relevant to the position to comply with company Quality & Environment systems. Perform any other tasks from time to time to assist the Managing Director in the efficient running of the OT&D business.
