Civil Engineers - Infrastructure Delivery through Council - Multiple Roles

About the Role

This civil design and engineering consultancy has strong relationships with regional councils. An opportunity now exists for civil engineers to fill 4 contract roles ( 6 months plus duration ) to help deliver a range of infrastructure projects.  The work will be delivered just over 2 hours drive out of Brisbane, Monday to Friday, so certainly allows for a drive in, drive out situation. Roles 1 and 2 : Works Engineers  Your background: RPEQ Engineer well regarded Delivered civil infrastructure projects Roadwork : have provided technical guidance on areas such as gravel re-sheeting, bitumen resealing, storm water drainage, sealed and unsealed road maintenance, pavement rehabilitation Council project experience a bonus You will manage and develop construction and maintenance schedules as well as develop and maintain budget reporting for projects. Being a  good collaborator will allow you to be effective on regular site visits. Role 3 : Design Engineer  Your background : RPEQ engineer essential Practical engineering experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, pre-construction and construction programs Council project experience a bonus You will prepare schedules of work, project briefs, tender documents and perform project management duties including potentially supervision Role 4 : Design Engineer Your background: RPEQ Engineer essential Strong with 12D and AutoCad Areas such as stormwater, roads, water mains, footpaths, DTMR projects You will assist in the delivery of designs and report on project progress. You enjoy providing supervision and guidance to team members.
