Great 2 year contract roles - develop business cases
Our client is a very successful engineering and project management consulting firm. They require the services of two Project managers with likely 5 years minimum relevant experience in transport infrastructure project planning. The Role Manage the preliminary evaluation (options analysis) and/or business case in the development phase of the project/s in close liaison with advisors and other key stakeholders. Identify and recommend the necessary internal and external expertise to deliver projects, including advising on, and managing the selection, engagement, and procurement of consultants. Manage, monitor and report on project progress against predetermined time, cost, and quality specifications and manage the project team, consultants, and contractors to ensure all members are appropriately skilled and utilised. Prepare and deliver submissions and reports relating to planning and technical issues, and identify appropriate mitigation strategies to overcome problems or obstacles related to the project/s. Investigate and resolve complex planning and design issues associated with the project to improve overall performance and ensure value for money. Desirable (but not mandatory) Knowledge & experience working with the DTMR Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or other formal qualifications in planning or design of transport infrastructure projects Experience applying technical standards such as Austroads and Australian Transport Assessment and Planning (ATAP) guidelines; Demonstrated experience working with transport models/modellers Envisaged 2 year term, 40 hour weeks, with 60% work from Buderim, and 40% from home.
